South County Mental Health Center is looking for Business Intelligence Data Specialist

As a Business Data Analyst or Specialist you will be responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within SCMHC. The position includes organizing data points, communicating between upper management and the IT department, and analyzing data to determine business needs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become subject matter expert for the organization’s EMR/HER (Credible Behavioral Health) and champions it’s adoption
  • Develops data solutions from multiple data sources / applications.
  • Develops and manages data reporting for internal and external consumers
  • Daily, monthly, & quarterly uploads/ Submits data as required
  • Ensure data is secure via proper access controls
  • Provides EMR/HER assistance and support to end-users
  • Organizes, implements and manages new hire as well as ongoing training for EMR/HER 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to pass drug screen, level II background check and AHCA Clearance
  • Extensive use and proficiency of MS SQL and related tools
  • Advanced proficiency of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with EMR/HER in a healthcare environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization & Modeling
  • Skilled at working with API’s and XML
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Server implementation, management, and support
  • Competency with MS Access & VBA Programming, or other programming languages
  • Experience working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sets, determining the key takeaways or action items and communicating them pictorially.
  • Strong understanding of Client/ Server models
  • Performs duties with moderate to low supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Fine-tuned and improved query performance using profiling tools and SQL

  • Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, and external
  • Ability to develop and execute complex project plans
  • Excellent organizational & Multi-Tasking skills
  • Excellent Presentation Skills

FUNCTIONAL, SPECIALIZED & TECHNICAL

  • Hands-on experience utilizing SQL Server, XML, API’s, Excel

WORKING CONDICTIONS/ OSHA

  • General Office environment

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, and other business backgrounds
